Sydney Bride Magazine

Our lovely gowns are featured in Sydney BRIDE magazine (December 2013 issue). I know it's a bit of a late post, but the images are so gorgeous, I can't help showing them off.

"Belle", tea-length frock, Pink Silk Organza and silk white Tulle. Embroidered motifs of roses and twines are appliqued on, to create subtle slimming illusion both front and back bodice. The beautiful wide brim hat is by Embellish Atelier. Peter Collie the photographer did a fantastic job capturing the mood and lighting. Rumour says, the couple (whom just met that day) actually went on a date after the photo shoot. Romantic much?

"Abigail", A-line full length gown with train. Antique bodice with mushroom embroidered tulle applique, cream satin, Tea-rose and cream silk organza. Delicate hand beaded 3D-flowers scattered throughout the bodice and skirt creating interest from all different angles. Can be worn with a separate petticoat (with hoop) for a ball-gown look. I love love love the colour combo, because they look good in a lot of different skin and hair tone.

These two gowns are perfect for a more laid back wedding theme, like a garden wedding, vineyard, barnyard or beach theme. Flow-y, lots of movements, very versatile and super beautiful.

Laura and Stew

It was a very wet November. Almost every day of the month was poured with rain and weekend were hit the hardest. I was crossing my fingers for this gorgeous couple, Laura and Stew and their very cute girl, Astrid, especially because they were planning an outdoor reception at Ballast Point Park (Birchgrove). Luckily, the sky hold off for a few hours, just in time for the couple to exchange vows and beautiful moment in front of families and friends.

Laura's gown is classic princess line bodice with A-line skirt. Slightly gathered Chiffon layers create beautiful soft and flowy effect. I love Laura's scooped V front and Low U back neckline which are very flattering. The bejewelled motif on the ruesched waistband finishes the look nicely.

Astrid gorgeous flower girl dress is a bit more playful, hence the layers of tulle. She has matching bejewelled waistband with Laura's gown and by the look of it, she had a lot of fun rocking that dress.

Congratulations to "Milk and Honey" photography, for snapping these precious moments. Laura and Stew's easy going attitude and laid back Wedding were captured perfectly and I'm sure will be cherished by this beautiful family forever.
